“My horse has sweet itch and really suffers – scratching his belly on the floor and scratching around his head. He hates any sort of fly spray etc., rugs are OK but they never covered everything. After some research I discovered Newmarket Equine Salt Therapy. I was very sceptical about how it worked but thought it worth a try. Well, I have to say we are impressed!

He doesn’t itch any more, and for the first time in years he has hair on his belly. He is now a much happier horse and enjoying himself while in the field. We have a salt therapy treatment, just to top up, every 2/3 months and that’s all that’s needed after the initial 3 days treatment. It’s well worth the 20 minutes each session takes.

Another 7 horses at the livery yard and I am at have now also tried it and have seen improvements for Sweet itch and respiratory issues”.
